The Government’s Buying Season is Over…Now What?

As we turned the corner on a new government fiscal year, the editors of FedPulse asked me to share some thoughts on what technology companies will face in the year ahead — and how they should prepare.
This led me to a few questions. What happens next? Will a busy September (actually, a couple of very strong months for many of us) lead to continued strength in the year ahead? Or should we expect an immediate drop-off now that the September rush has passed?
You can see my immediate thoughts by reading the FedPulse blog post here: http://fedpulse.com/2014/10/governments-buying-season-overnow/.
Don’t forget we’ll dive into this topic in great detail at the Government IT Sales Summit on November 20, starting with immixGroup’s annual Market Intelligence Budget Briefings for Civilian agencies and the Department of Defense. Throughout the day we’ll explore the impacts of budgets, procurement issues, IT priorities, and more on sales, marketing, business development, contracts, channel relationships, and more. I hope you can join us! Early bird registration ends on October 31.
