When business leaders talk about what contributes to their company’s success, they often point to the importance of strong relationships in their industry. In the government IT ecosystem, having strong connections with channel partners, tech suppliers and government end-users is crucial for growing revenue.
That’s why the theme for our 4th Annual Government IT Sales Summit is “Crucial Connections.” Taking place Nov. 16, 2017, in Reston, VA, this year’s Summit will help make those crucial connections between top solution providers, IT manufacturers, systems integrators and resellers.
Not only is the Summit about connecting but also fostering conversations and discussions about everything going on in government IT. Our annual budget briefings, delivered by immixGroup’s Market Intelligence team, kick off the day with standing-room-only presentations of IT trends within defense, civilian and state and local governments. Attendees also come away with strategies for growing public sector sales in FY18.
We are particularly excited for our keynote speaker, Scott Parazynski. He’s a former astronaut, physician and author of the recently released book, “The Sky Below: A True Story of Summits, Space, and Speed.” Scott spent 17 years as an astronaut, including eight weeks in space, 47 hours outside on spacewalks and 23 million miles in orbit. In May 2016, he was inducted into the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame. We’re looking forward to hearing his fascinating story.
Throughout the day, you’ll get even more industry perspective through 15 sessions on the latest in technology and government trends. Our session speakers include current and former government officials, as well as IT business leaders who will discuss everything from advancing the internet of things to the expanding role of artificial intelligence and machine learning.
And of course, we’ve designed the event to offer countless opportunities for networking throughout the day. Each year, the Summit attracts 1,000 sales, marketing and business development professionals representing nearly 300 different solution providers, systems integrators and technology manufacturers. (Bring plenty of business cards.) You’ll also see the latest in technology solutions at the tech expo, including Arrow’s semi-autonomous motorcar (SAM), a race car that uses IoT technology to allow a quadriplegic former racecar driver to compete again.
As the premier conference in the D.C. region focused exclusively on public sector and technology, this is a must-attend event for anyone selling technology to government. Get the early bird discounted rate and reserve your seat today!
