2020 will certainly be a memorable year for the obvious reasons. It was also a busy year for government contractors with a host of new government regulations, initiatives and opportunities for new contract vehicles. At immixGroup, we kept very busy throughout the year acquiring new vehicles – both federal and SLED – to support our suppliers’ and partners’ go-to-market strategies and to enable their efficient revenue growth.
Protecting Our Base
During this past year, immixGroup first ensured that we maintained the contracts we currently hold, which are critical to our suppliers’ and partners’ success. On the federal side, immixGroup finalized an extension to one of its largest contracts, NASA SEWP V, for an additional, and final, 5-year period.
Additionally, immixGroup executed extensions to its Army ITES-SW contract to avoid lapse in coverage while the Army finalized awards for its follow-on contract. immixGroup also executed extensions to some of its various DoD ESI Agreements and several SLED contracts, including Pennsylvania COSTARS, State of Oklahoma, and one of its CMAS contracts.
Expanding Opportunities
immixGroup’s capture and proposal efforts resulted in both new contracts and further expansion of existing contracts. Two key strategic new contract wins were the awards of Army ITES-SW2 and OMNIA Partners.
Army ITES-SW2 is a 10-year IDIQ contract offering commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software products and maintenance in 14 major categories, supporting total solution requirements. ITES-SW2 is open to all federal agencies and authorized government contractors supporting these agencies. The immixGroup contract covers products across 50+ suppliers and allows for the addition of new suppliers/products at any time.
OMNIA Partners is a national cooperative agreement that allows purchasing by all 50 states, including localities, K-12, colleges and universities. Currently, the immixGroup contract offers technology solutions from 30 different suppliers, with more to come.
immixGroup also saw continued expansion of its DoD ESI Agreement portfolio. The first ever DoD ESI agreement established utilizing the NASA SEWP V Agency Catalog capability was awarded to immixGroup for Open JDK Software and Solutions. immixGroup’s ESI Agreement for Tanium solutions was the first to be designated as a CETA, which you can read more about in a blog posted earlier this year. Finally, immixGroup further expanded its DoD ESI Agreement for IT Asset Management (ITAM) solutions with recent awards for an additional six vendors’ solutions.
Additionally, immixGroup received SLED specific awards for: a California SLP; Texas DIR contracts for Educational IT as well as data storage, data networking equipment and related services; a South Carolina contract for biometrics timekeeping solutions; PEPPM-California awards for backup and disaster recovery products, SIEM event monitoring products, storage systems, software and services and a North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (DPI) contract for E-rate eligible on-premises network equipment and services.
With 2020 coming to an end, immixGroup already has been gearing up its pursuit and capture efforts for additional federal and SLED contracts in 2021. We certainly don’t see things slowing down, and who knows, maybe that long awaited GSA 2GIT BPA will finally be awarded and go live!
